Andriy Stelmashchuk – an Expert of the Pan-Ukrainian Law School on Commercial Litigation
On September 26-27, 2009, Lviv hosted the Pan-Ukrainian Law School on Commercial Litigation, which was organized by the Students League of the Ukrainian Bar Association. The event was traditionally sponsored by its general partner, Vasil Kisil & Partners. The School on Commercial Litigation brought together over 30 law students representing law schools from all over Ukraine. The event addressed issues such as a modern system of commercial law and procedure, system drawbacks and issues of concern the students will face in their practice.
Mr. Andriy Stelmashchuk, an associate with Vasil Kisil & Partners and recognized expert in the Ukrainian market of legal services related to commercial litigation, was invited by the UBA Students League to lecture in brief the students attending the Pan-Ukrainian School in Lviv.
Mr. Andriy Stelmashchuk delivered two sessions featuring different aspects of commercial litigation such as distinguishing commercial jurisdiction from other jurisdictions and peculiarities of commercial disputes with non-residents.
“I was pleased to learn that the school participants were so highly trained and interested in the matter. The event gathered the most active law students from all over Ukraine and the best expert associates and lecturers,” noted Andriy Stelmashchuk.
