Yet again Dr. Tatyana Slipachuk shares her professional experience with the Pan-Ukrainian Law School attendees

On February 19 – 20, 2010, the Students League of the Ukrainian Bar Association organized the Pan-Ukrainian Law School entitled “Alternative Methods to Settle Disputes”, which brought together law students from different Ukrainian cities.

Mr. Mykola Onischuk, Minister of Justice of Ukraine, opened the event with his welcome speech addressed to its participants and lecturers. The official opening of the school was followed by a set of master classes for students taught by the most competent specialists from leading law firms. Dr. Tatyana Slipachuk, Partner with Vasil Kisil & Partners, was invited for the second time to lead a hands-on training and report on “Practical Aspects in International Commercial Arbitration: from Arbitration Clause to Awards Enforcement”. The master class covered conceptual fundamentals of the international commercial arbitration and deliberated particular arbitration cases and captivating occasions happened while examining evidence or hearing witnesses. Practical issues regarding international arbitration awards disputing and enforcement in Ukraine were also vividly debated within the class.

Eventually, Dr. Tatyana Slipachuk emphasized the importance of professionalism and adhering to the code of ethics in international arbitration, as well as respecting its principles, which is a proven recipe for success in disputes alternative settlement as a whole.
