In February 2009, the Yuridicheskaya Praktika conducted a regular survey to find the top ten male and top ten female lawyers of Ukraine. The survey respondents, both law firms and public authorities, were offered to select from a list of the best-known names of 50 Ukrainian male lawyers and 50 Ukrainian female lawyers, which was compiled on the basis of available information from open sources. The list included the names of both practicing and academic lawyers.

The rating of top ten male lawyers of Ukraine features Vasil Kisil and Oleg Makarov, Senior Partner and Managing Partner of the law firm, respectively.
