On October 7, 2008, the annual Best Ukrainian Lawyers award ceremony took place in “Lipsky Osobnyak”, Kiev. Vasil Kisil & Partners’ counselor Dr. Vadym Belyanevych took the win in the “Lawyer of the Year 2008” among private law firms category.

The “Lawyer of the Year” competition is traditionally organized by Lawyer’s Union of Ukraine on the eve of the professional holiday – “Lawyer’s Day” and its participants are lawyers whose candidacies in various nominations were submitted by state bodies and agencies, as well as by public and non-state organizations.

Winners are defined based their professional track record and performance results for the year and compliance with professional and business ethics.
