According to the II Annual Research conducted by YUR.GAZETA (Ukrainian legal weekly) "Ukrainian Lawyers 2008. Client Choice" Vasil Kisil & Partners' Managing Partner Oleg Makarov is a recognized leader of the Ukrainian Litigation Practice.
The results of "Ukrainian Lawyers 2008. Client Choice" research are comprised on the basis of surveying corporate lawyers of 650 leading Ukrainian companies who answered the following question: "Whom of the lawyers in Ukraine (apart from your employees) would you entrust solving your company's legal problems?".
In his interview given to “YUR.GAZETA” when asked about whether or not clients choose the lawyer or the firm Mr. Makarov said: “The client chooses both the lawyer and the firm. Long behind us are the times when a lawyer could handle a complicated case all on his or her own. Our practice proves that success calls for teamwork.”
