Vasil Kisil & Partners giving a presentation at the “Burning issues of intellectual property” conference
On September 1-5, 2008, the International Theoretical and Practical Conference “Burning issues of intellectual property” took place in Yalta. It was organized by the State Department of the Intellectual Property at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the European Patent Office and by the Crimean Autonomic Republic’s Council of Ministers.
Among the issues discussed throughout the conference there was the shaping of the intellectual property market in Ukraine, intellectual property rights purchasing, use and protection, Internet copy right and neighboring rights related problems, as well as other relevant for this area of expertise topics.
VKP’s partner Oleksiy Filatov was an active participant of the event, while Alexander Mamunya, Vasil Kisil & Partners’ leading associate, gave a presentation on the topic of “Legal Due Diligence of the Intellectual Property.”
