Oleg A. Makarov has been a partner with Vasil Kisil & Partners since the establishment of the firm. He has been Managing Partner of the firm since 2007.

For over twenty years, Mr. Makarov has been practicing Domestic and International Litigation, Taxation, Investments, Securities, Property Law and Bankruptcy Law. In the conduct of his very successful litigation practice which is one of the most extensive among Ukrainian lawyers Oleg has demonstrated the qualities of a charismatic leader making his transition into the Managing Partner role very natural.

Oleg is a member of the Board of the Ukrainian Bar Association and Public Council of the State Court Administration of Ukraine. He represents Ukraine on Best Lawyers Advisory Board and is a renowned expert on law firm management issues.

Mr. Makarov has been repeatedly recognized as one of the best litigation practitioners by numerous Ukrainian and foreign publications: The PLC Cross-border Dispute Resolution Handbook 2010/11 similarly to its editions of previous years endorsed him as a Highly Recommended Dispute Resolution Practitioner in Ukraine.
