Mr. Tereshchenko has extensive experience in advising foreign and domestic companies (importers, exporters, manufacturers, distributors) on complex issues of international trade, customs and transport law, contractual structuring of transactions and drafting respective contracts.
Oleksandr Tereshchenko is a member of the Committee for Foreign Trade of the Ukrainian Association of Lawyers, a member of the Customs Committee of the European Business Association and the American Chamber of Commerce.
Oleksandr was also involved in the Working Group on Amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine under the auspices of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Banking, Tax and Customs Policy.
Oleksandr is the author of numerous articles in the leading law and business periodicals regarding legal regulation of foreign trade, transport and investment activities.
Education: in 2005 Oleksandr graduated with honors from Kyiv International University and has a Master’s Degree in International Law; in addition he has obtained a jurisconsult qualification. Mr. Tereshchenko undertook his internship in the Legal Department of the Parliament of Canada (2004-2005).
